Hunger Dust is a Raspberry-type status attack in Pokémon Sweet.
The opponent will get hungry if they're hit with this move, and will begin to eat themselves into a coma.
It was originally PoisonPowder, a Poison Type move.
Effect[]
In Battle[]
If a Pokésweet manages to use this move, the user will sprinkle purple dust, called Hunger Dust all over their target.
The targeted Pokésweet will then get the Hunger status condition. With the hunger status in effect, after all pokésweets have ended their turn, the affected Pokésweet noms on themself, causing damage.
This will happen every turn, until an ability, pecha berry or antidote cures it, or it causes the victim to faint.
Also, Hunger Dust will have these effects:
- Only one Pokésweet can be targeted at a time using this move
- Allies can be accidentally targeted using this move, so be careful
- Hunger Dust doesn't effect Apple Types
- Hunger Dust will fail and make the user lose a turn if the opposing team are protected by Safeguard
- Hunger Dust will fail and make the user lose a turn if the target is already hungry, or has been paralyzed, put to sleep, burned, or frozen solid by another move or ability beforehand.
- Pokésweets with Shed Skin (like Cookietot) will sometimes cure themselves of Hunger Dust
- The move Haze will cure all Pokésweets of hunger, even foes
- If the targeted Pokésweet uses Mirror Coat, the user will have their own Hunger Dust used against them, unless the user is an Apple Type.
- If the hunger status is not cured, the status remains outside of battle, until the pokésweet eats itself into a coma & faints. If a player is planning to Nuzzlocke Pokémon Sweet, antidotes and pecha berries are needed
Outside of Battle[]
Hunger Dust cannot be used outside of a battle
Description[]
A cloud of toxic dust is scattered. It may poison the foe.
